Refunds withoutthe guesswork.
This policy explains how refund requests, cancellations and access changes are handled for digital Nejma products purchased through Paddle.
Digital products and seller
Nejma is the product brand and software supplier operating nejma.app. Nejma supplies digital software, extensions, licenses and related digital services. Products are delivered electronically; no physical goods are shipped.
Checkout is provided by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for purchases made through Paddle. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, receipts and refund processing. Nejma provides the software, license, entitlement and product support.
How to request a refund
You can submit a refund request through Nejma Support, through the support or refund options in your Paddle receipt, or through Paddle customer support. Include the purchase email and transaction or receipt details when available so the purchase can be located quickly.
Refund requests submitted within 14 days of purchase will be reviewed under this policy, Paddle's buyer terms and refund rules, and applicable law. A request is not automatically guaranteed unless applicable law requires the refund.
Refund eligibility
A refund may be appropriate, including where:
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- A material technical problem prevents the product from functioning substantially as described and reasonable troubleshooting does not resolve it.
- The product or entitlement delivered is materially different from what was presented at checkout.
- Paddle, Nejma or applicable consumer law determines that a refund is required or appropriate.
When a refund may be refused
Where permitted by applicable law, a refund may be refused when:
- The request is based only on a change of mind after substantial use of the digital product.
- The license, account or product was abused, shared, transferred or used in violation of the applicable license terms.
- The issue is caused by an unsupported operating system, host-app version or environment where the relevant compatibility requirement was disclosed before purchase.
- A reasonable product fix or troubleshooting path is available but the customer declines to provide enough information to investigate the issue.
- The request falls outside any applicable refund or withdrawal period and no mandatory legal right requires a refund.
What happens after a refund
When a refund is approved, Paddle returns the eligible amount through the payment method and process available for the original transaction. Processing time can depend on Paddle, the payment network and the customer's bank.
A refunded purchase no longer grants a paid entitlement. Nejma may revoke the related license, activation or product access after the refund is confirmed.
Subscriptions and cancellations
5text is currently presented as a lifetime license through Paddle rather than a recurring subscription. If Nejma introduces subscription products, the billing interval, renewal terms and price will be shown before checkout. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not by itself create a refund for a charge that has already been completed.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law or Paddle's buyer terms provide stronger rights, including statutory withdrawal or refund rights in certain countries, those rights continue to apply.
